My working life is about teaming up with organisations and individuals to help make them successful.
Like many of my generation, I wasn’t sure what I wanted to do when I left University. After some time overseas I returned to New Zealand and my first real job was Assistant Youth Training Officer for St John Ambulance, running leadership programmes for young people and adult leaders. At the time I didn’t quite know what the role was really about and probably got it because I was a St. John cadet when I was young. I was very lucky because I found work that I love and that I am good at, and I’m still doing it today. From that initial foray into leadership development I have spent many years working with organisations as both a consultant and a staff member. I have been a Training Manager, a Trade Union Education Officer, a Senior Manager in the Change Management Practice at Accenture and led the Human Resource function in some of New Zealand’s largest organisations including New Zealand Police, Ministry of Justice and Ministry of Social Development. I am an expert and thought leader in Change, Culture, Employee Engagement, Talent Management and Leadership Development I have worked in and consulted with some of our most high profile organisations. This broad experience helps me to bring a rich and varied experience to help you and your organisation..
